Omar Muneef Daham

Omar Muneef Daham is the Chairman of Al-Munif Holding Group and Multi Projects Company (MPC Group), a leading Iraqi conglomerate specializing in real estate development, investment management, construction, and smart city solutions.

With over 15 years of executive experience spanning banking operations, credit management, corporate governance, and real estate investment, Omar Muneef Daham brings strategic vision and operational excellence to every project under his leadership.

Before assuming the role of Chairman in April 2021, Mr. Daham built a distinguished career in the banking sector. He served as Branch Manager at Fransabank in Erbil, Iraq (2014–2021), where he held full profit-and-loss responsibility, implemented internal controls and compliance frameworks, managed credit portfolios and risk exposure, and led teams in alignment with international governance and ethical standards. Prior to that, he held corporate banking roles at Fransabank and Intercontinental Bank of Lebanon (2009–2014), specializing in credit assessment, corporate loan management, Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and regulatory compliance with Central Bank of Iraq standards.

Mr. Daham holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences from the University of Mosul, Iraq (2003–2007). He has completed professional training in corporate banking, SME banking, and documentary credits (UCP 600) under the supervision of the Union of Arab Banks in Beirut, Lebanon.

Under his leadership, MPC Group has launched landmark development projects including MPC Village in Ramadi, Al-Munif Commercial Complex in Mosul, Boulevard Mosul, and the Ramadi Smart City concept. These projects span residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Erbil, Mosul, Ramadi, and Baghdad, contributing to Iraq's post-conflict reconstruction and urban modernization.

Mr. Daham is fluent in Arabic, English, and Kurdish. He is recognized for his strategic and analytical approach to business, deep understanding of the Iraqi economic environment, and commitment to governance excellence.
